Brick & Mortar

Strengthening our lives by focusing on the mortar that holds it all together, our faith in Jesus Christ.

Our lives are built brick by brick of the various components of life: family, work, social life, health, community, travel. But what holds all the bricks together? Without strong mortar, our lives are an unstable stack of bricks.

So often we view “faith” as one brick in our lives—one isolated part of our selves that has nothing to do with the other parts of our life. Yet, a healthy mature faith in Christ is more like the mortar between the bricks that holds them all together. It’s gives our lives structure and strength as it surrounds all the “bricks” of our lives.

Throughout 2020, we are strengthening our lives by focusing on the mortar that holds it all together, our faith in Jesus Christ. We’re starting this year off with a 4-week worship series called A Brick and Mortar Life. Join us each Sunday, January 12- February 2 at 9:00 am in the Cokesbury Center or 11:00 am in the sanctuary.
