Summer Music Festival

This Sunday, we’re kicking off our Summer Music Festival. Throughout the summer, we’ll feature different styles or themes of music in worship. Each Sunday will be a unique musical experience. There will be times for you to sing those old hymns we rarely hear anymore, or familiar songs with a whole different style like jazz or bluegrass. Some of our most dedicated musicians will share their gifts as we’re pulling together new combos and ensembles for this festival. As you know, James Stanley and Shannon Webb are deeply talented themselves, but they also have great gifts to lead other musicians to create beautiful music. They are creating worship experiences that will unite our hearts to God in new and fun ways. Of course, these services will include our usual rich liturgy like the Apostle’s Creed and Lord’s Prayer, along with moving prayers and preaching. I encourage you to make a special effort to be in worship each week this summer and experience God’s glory through our Summer Music Festival.
See you Sunday,
David
