FLAME

F.L.A.M.E. (Funding Loans as Ministry to Entrepreneurs) is microlending program through Kiva, a non-profit organization, that makes small loans to the working poor around the world. FLAME started at FUMC in 2007 and has made over 1,500 loans to assist borrowers in 79 countries. Most of the money collected for FLAME comes during the first two Sundays in November at our Christmas Care Fair.
