United Women in Faith Lunch & Program

Everyone is invited to attend the UWF lunch and program on Sunday, November 15, after the 11:00 am worship service, in the Fellowship Hall. Our speakers are Julie and Kent Holt, who, after retiring, decided to actively resist the harsh immigration policies placed on many of our immigrant neighbors. What began as protesting at Little Rock’s ICE facility grew into representing a Haitian family now facing deportation. The Holts will share their experiences and this family’s story, which serves as a synopsis of the immigration crisis and a testament to the love and reach of United Methodists. If you plan to attend, please fill out the Journey Card in the bulletin or call the church office at 501-372-2256 so we can prepare enough food.
