United Women in Faith Lunch & Program

UWF will meet for lunch and for their meeting after the 11:00 am worship service on February 9th in the Fellowship Hall.  UWF is happy to welcome leaders from Habitat for Humanity Central Arkansas whose mission is to put God’s love into action.   Kelly Fleming, Executive Director, and Morgan Benton, Executive Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator will share with us about their work.  The unit was formed in 1989 and has built or rehabbed more than 250 homes since then.  Over 10,000 volunteers made this possible.  The operational ReStore is on South University and a second ReStore on Breckenridge Drive is planned to open in March.  They will tell us about the “Over the Hill Gang” as well as other volunteer opportunities.  If you plan to attend, please fill out the Journey Card in the church bulletin or call the church office at 501-372-2256 so that enough food will be prepared.  Everyone is invited to attend!
