Worship Services
Some might say there are as many different ways to worship as there are worshipers. So First Church offers a variety of worship opportunities — from casual and contemporary to formal and traditional. The spirit of God and the warmth of Christian fellowship are present in all of our services, so we invite you to try them all and find the one that meets your needs and fits your lifestyle.
First Light in the Chapel – 8:30 a.m.
Our early service has a traditional feel with the chapel providing an intimate and personal setting for worship.
“This is a service where we just feel connected to one another. You come to this service once and you become one of the family.” Rev. David WilliamsFirst Word in the Gym- 8:55 a.m.
This lively service reaches out to those who enjoy contemporary worship. Blue jeans are not out of place here and enthusiasm and spirits run high in this service that features our First Word Praise Team, an active drama ministry and dynamic sermons. Childcare is available and a free continental breakfast is offered.
First Tradition in the Sanctuary – 11:00 a.m.
This worship service brings together a full choir, stirring music and traditional liturgy and preaching. First Church’s soaring sanctuary is the perfect setting for a moving worship experience, complemented with the warmth of an open and welcoming congregation.
“Spiritually there is no place I can imagine that could be more nurturing. The warm and embracing nature of this church has been its strength over the years and it certainly drew us into the fold from the outset. Nowhere have we experienced such an open, accepting atmosphere.” John Choate
