Children’s Music
Afternoon Music Camp
The Ministry of Arts and Music offers an afternoon Music Camp in conjunction with Vacation Bible School every summer. The camp is free and is open to all children ages 2nd grade thru 6th grade. The music camp is Monday-Firday in the afternoon the same week of Vacation Bible School. The children lean a musical, using both music and drama, and perform on Friday afternoon during the Ice Cream Social. isaacchoh@fumclr.org
Childrens’ Choirs
One of the best ways for our children to learn to participate in worship is through singing in the choir. We are blessed to have a dynamic children’s choir program with two choirs, The Quarter Notes (4 years – 2nd Grade) and The Glory Singers (Grades 3rd – 6th), that allow children the opportunity to learn to sing and to lead in worship through music.
The Quarter Notes & The Glory Singers meet Sunday mornings 8:55 to 9:45 a.m. in the choir room. Regular attendance and punctuality is essential, as the choirs prepare for frequently singing in the worship service.
