Safe Sanctuary

First Church has been designated as a Safe Sanctuary Church.  What does that mean for families?  It means we take extra care to provide a safe and secure environment for each child.  We use guidelines that include but are not limited to:

• Screening for staff and volunteers
• Safe drop off and pick up for each child
• Child information cards 
• Low adult to staff ratios in each room
• Two caregivers per classroom
• An open door policy or a window in each classroom
• No child ever left alone
• Pagers available upon request
